William Aldridge joins the Bighorn Desert-View Water Agency’s leadership team after performing varied plumbing and construction services in the high desert area for 30 years for Aldridge Construction Company.
Currently a 35-year resident of Landers, Aldridge understands the critical impact clean safe drinking water has on our everyday lives growing up under the influence of his grandfather, who was on the Eastern Municipal Water District Board of Directors some years ago (he even remembers when they dedicated Lake Matthews in Hemet!)
Practicing what he preaches, Aldridge has a passion for saving water, and demonstrates with his own resources the effectiveness of drip irrigation and water-wise gardening living in the desert. Aside from his past time of desert gardening, Aldridge has actively served as a life member of the American Motorcyclist Association.
Shortly after his Board appointment, Director Aldridge wasted no time attending the Special Districts Leadership Academy back in April, 2024, where he completed and graduated from training that hones the responsibilities of Board Directors.
With conviction, Aldridge shared, “I stepped up to volunteer to serve on the BDVWA Board of Directors to help lead and leave a sound and safe water company for future generations.”
